It's sad in both senses- that someone clings so much to their hate that they think this is appropriate, and that someone hates that much.

OT, but I love that cat! It always looks so *traumatized*. I wish I could remember where it's from.

Agreed. From what the media shares, it appears hate is becoming rather fashionable. That is very sad. In an age where bullying has become rampant, hate follows on its heels (or is that visa versa?). I'll get off my soapbox before I get started lol.

Now on to cats....I tagged that graphic from http://www.glitter-graphics.com but last I checked, it was no longer up there. I wish I would have grabbed the entire URL - I have no idea why I didn't. I'm usually really good about citation. There is an animated one instead. I've searched for it on line but just can't find the name of it. I am under the impression it is public domain.

It's from a comic called 9 Chickweed Lane by Brooke McEldowney.

THANK YOU so much!!! I have updated the comment on my user pic to reflect his book, the comic strip and his name.

<3 I aim to please.

(Actually, it was driving me nuts, too. I knew I'd seen the cat somewhere and it was from a comic strip, but couldn't remember which one--so I went and did some sleuthing with TinEye until I finally found someone who referenced it as something other than "FrazzledCat.jpg." The cat's name is Solange, and the "Hallmarks of Felinity" one-shots occasionally interspersed in the storyline are actually pretty funny.)
