I figured that's what it was right away. I mean, dickheads who didn't want to take their exams were pulling that crap when I was going to university twenty years ago.

Yeah, you do see them around. I have them in my city, anyway. Most of them are pretty run down, though.

DC has some still but you definitely don't see them everywhere anymore, mostly I just see them in the metro.

They're practically extinct in the Chicago area! There are still a few in places like train stations (*some* of them), but that's about it, afaik.
