and if there's anyone who would know the difference between canadian conservatives committing illegal acts and canadian conservatives being charged with a crime, it's Conrad Black, who was a pretty powerful guy before he went to prison for fraud.

Not as of this past summer, which is the most recent reference I can find.

Which is kind of funny, because Britain isn't letting him be a Baron these days either, and fewer than 20% of actual canadian citizens think he shouldn't have his Order of Canada stripped.

I like to think of the situation as one of the few times Tony Blair actually did some good in the world.

Yeah, I mean. Why is he commenting on this? I know he was begging for his citizenship back at one point, but just...

I'm glad that we seem to have unanimously decided that we don't want him. XD
