The surveillance stories always focused around Snowden leaks made people worry mostly about themselves (vain little creatures human beings are) and sadly not on the journalist being listened to for their sources.I find it interesting because it's legal to publish classified information but not to leak it so technical and practically sound practice to scare potential leakers.Internal dissent is perhaps more heated and rife then is knowable from the outside at this point.
It's not about corporations vs. people. Who can fight a logo and patents ha. It's about people fighting other people at the end of the day. It's about people who don't value the same things. It's always about some segment of people thinking they are above others and will face no consequences for abusing their privileges or advantages.
