Mock trial on Tuesday went really kind of awesome! I've been given the green light so I'm moving on to active cases and the possibility (more like probability) of testifying in court!

Idk I'm definitely looking forward to it but still nervous since mock trial is just mock trial and testifying in court has real consequences and real people and real everything!

Yeah, I currently work in a crime lab so I'm testifying as an expert witness.

lol, I can't/don't discuss casework, but it's definitely an awesome job, even if it isn't quite CSI.

Same here! Which is why I ended up trying to get into the field. It's definitely worth looking into if you're interested and have the qualifications.

    Good luck!

From the side asking you all the questions: We are always willing to send you our questions in advance or work through any anxieties you may have about testifying. A decent prosecutor won't mind sitting down with you or just chatting with you over the phone about testifying. We should be doing this anyways because it's basic witness prep - but feel free to ask for help when you need it. Just always keep in mind the jury are the people you need to convince. The prosecutor should know all the answers to all the questions she/he is asking.
