George Zimmerman Arrested After Domestic Dispute With 'Girlfriend'
George Zimmerman was arrested in Seminole County, Fla., at about 1:30 p.m., Monday.
It is unclear what charges Zimmerman, 30, is facing, the Orlando Sentinel reports. The arrest occurred shortly after a domestic disturbance dispute involving Zimmerman's "girlfriend" in Apopka law enforcement officials told WESH 2.
Zimmerman was taken to the Seminole County Jail, a sheriff's spokesman told USA Today.
Officials announced Thursday that Zimmerman would not face any charges in a September altercation with his estranged wife, Shellie Zimmerman. Lake Mary Police said they "could not salvage" the video that allegedly showed footage of the dispute.
In July, a jury found George Zimmerman not guilty of second-degree murder in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
