Toronto Mayor Rob Ford is getting a reality TV show
"Rob is like Howard Stern or Rush Limbaugh," said brother Doug Ford

In line with the modern world’s twisted obsession with the tragic downfall of public figures, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford - who recently admitted to smoking crack-cocaine in a “drunken stupor,” who was caught on video threatening to kill a man, who on Wednesday divulged his sexual habits, and who plans to run for reelection regardless - is not taking time off to focus on his health. Instead, he, along with his brother Councillor Doug Ford, is being awarded with what’s being touted as “Canada’s Ultimate Reality TV Show” on the Sun News Network.

The show is a continuation of the brothers’ radio talk show, The City, which aired on on Newstalk 1010 until last week. “Rob is like Howard Stern or Rush Limbaugh,” says Doug Ford. “You just never know what he is going to say.”

Apparently, according to Sun News Network vice president Kory Teneycke, “We are in the age of reality TV and it doesn’t get more real than the Fords.”

The show, named “Ford Nation,” will air Mondays at 8 p.m. on Sun News Network, beginning Nov. 18.
