The unfortunate thing being that regardless of what happens, these Republicans will be able to hold their seats until at least 2022 if not longer thanks to redistricting. We're in for some fun years everyone!!

Ha ha, that was my first thought, too! And I thought, sure this is a ridiculous situation, but how is it any business of Canada's? Then I started reading the actual story, and the first three words ("Rep. Raul Labrador") cleared things right up, lol.

I definitely was also thinking of the dog when reading the title and I was SO CONFUSED.

Until I read the first sentence of the article and was like "....ooooohhhhhhh"

I know, right? Freakin' depressing. My little brother's been hanging out with the local dems, who are doing their enthused-campaign-thing, and he keeps going on and on about how people are going to kick the Rs to the curb for this -- and I keep trying to explain that he's leaving out the key factors of "excessive gerrymandering" and "people being idiots", both of which will come heavily into play. :|
