I FIND YOU CHEAP TEXTBOOKS! fenris_lorsrai September 6 2013, 22:16:26 UTC
I’m a book dealer by trade so know all the good tricks for finding cheapest textbooks out there. I have to order scads of them every year.

If you need help finding cheap texts and live in the US, leave me a comment with the following info:

1. ISBN of the book
2. IF the book has extra material with it (software, workbook, CD) do you need it? Yes, no, don’t know. DO indicate whether it has extra material or not.
3. Can you use the previous edition? Yes, no, I don’t know For most introductory courses you can. Things with dated material (law, current events) you generally can’t. ask the prof for a clear answer!

I don't think any of them have extra material, and they've all been pretty specific that we should use the specified edition.

Thank you so much!

You don't deal in academic rate software, do you? I think it's a diq move that Adobe is pulling all of its boxed software and only selling that Cloud crap now.

No, unfortunately I don't. You're best either checking the manufacturer's website directly or stalking ebay for sealed software.

Most of the older adobe products you can still find non-cloud versions in sealed boxes, so unless your school is being a dick about "you must have cloud version only!" you can get away with the old ones.

I don't believe either of them have extra material (first one definitely doesn't).
An earlier edition of either of them would be fine.
Thanks!
