Is the RNC pulling the plug on McCain?

So I hear (via a prominent member of the sane Republican faction) that the word on the right side of the street is that the Republican National Committee is about to pull the plug on its joint ads with the McCain campaign, and devote its resources instead to trying to save a couple of the senators who are at serious risk of losing their seats. Pete called in from Southern Pines, North Carolina on their health care Q&A, getting all up in Ron Regan's grill about how "[Obama] isn't God", and what right does he have to try and say he'll cover everyone without cost when he didn't sign some petition in Chicago a few years ago that would have saved the lives of millions of newborns.
