Dozens of previously unknown tidbits about Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden emerge from leaked Pakistan report on 2011 raid that killed him

I'm not sure what any of these details really do. I mean, great, he was a loving grandfather. That doesn't change the fact that he orchestrated terrorist attacks that killed thousands. It's not like there was even a question as to his guilt that he was the one to blame as he took the credit, himself. That's pleading guilty.
I thought this. But then I thought maybe it could do some good in reminding people that even horrible people can seem like nice people in certain contexts? I mean, in the US Osama bin Laden is basically considered synonymous with evil. Maybe people will think twice about insisting someone else can't be a horrible person because he is also a loving grandfather, by remember than so was Osama bin Laden?
I feel like that's something that's already common knowledge, though. Like, most every story about a serial killer has the neighbors say "oh he was the nicest guy! Helped me with my groceries and change my oil and so of course I didn't think anything of it when he offered to babysit my kids!" or whatever.
