In before straight cis opinions.

I dunno, I think some of these arguments are interesting, but I keep seeing articles like that getting posted in places that aren't lgbt centric (my facebook is full of socialists who love Jacobin's articles) and then I get the joy of watching people who really have no dog in this fight arguing over whether or not the fight for same-sex marriage is radical enough for their liking.

Reading this, I'm not sure what the take away lesson for US activists is since our political landscape seems to be so different than Argentina's. Like, some of the individual points are interesting, like the mention of co-operation between lgbt and labor groups, but I'm not sure how they could be applied here in the US. Many of the straight people I know who were going to pride this past weekend were going because they are marching with their unions. But, at the same time, our unions were powerless to stop our state from becoming a Right To Work state and so much of their efforts have been on the defensive trying (and often failing) to not rapidly lose ground.
