Right? My father in law once said with regards to something similar to this, "Well, things were a lot better in those days..." and both my mother in law and I said, "Better for WHO?" :X

I was thinking this when I watched the first two episodes of Mad Men the other day. The thing that struck me was that every single person in that show seemed miserable in some way or another.
