This is what zero tolerance gets you. People stop using common sense.

In fact, zero tolerance policies actually PRECLUDE using common sense, by strictly dictating what the consequences of a particular act/occurence HAVE to be, in ALL cases, at ALL times, period, full stop, do not pass Go, do not collect $200. With a policy like that in place, teachers and administrators are literally prevented from using their own judgment or common sense to determine how to handle a particular event. Which is, of course, WHY zero tolerance policies are so stupid and short-sighted.
(I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but I felt like pointing this out anyway. ;p )

I hope the Wilmot sisters love Space Camp. I went to a day camp there once in middle school and it was awesome. I always wanted to do the real thing.
