The Clintons are just the most grotesque people. Bill especially, just a petty ,self centered child. I sense none of that sort of ego in Obama.

That pretty much sums it up. If there's a person more pissed off by today's poll number than McCain...it's Hillary. It's over for her, she will NOT ever be president.

“Obama did not vary his tone of voice at all - it’s one of his main problems in connecting,” said Ruth Sherman, a political communications consultant. “It is a beautiful voice, with lots of highs and lows of pitch, but the general tone is always the same. There is much, much more he could do, just with his voice, to increase his impact.”

I kind of agree with this?

Everything else, though... not so much.

Um...Aside from what went down in the primaries, I haven't heard any dissing of the Clintons. These people are out campaigning for Obama. Some supporters of Obama have issues with the Clintons, though.

Was. (Although he should have handled Newt better.)

Without getting too Dowd-esque, sometimes it seems like he's convinced he's living in his own version of All About Eve. I mean, I look back now and understand Hillary's behavior in the primaries, but Bill... wow. Just outright lying and disrespect, from the whole "people are going to vote along racial lines" thing to "they're all angry because she's winning" to his refusal to forgive Bill Richardson.

In the end, I think he always makes it all about him, which is why he was so great campaigning for himself, and so ridiculous campaigning for his wife.

Is she for real? This man's speeches are legendary. People wait out in the rain for hours to hear him TALK. If that's not a sign of a connection, I don't know what is.

But, if Obama wanted to hug me and tell me everything was going to be okay...I don't think I'd have the willpower to stop him. <3_<3
