Something about that letter makes me wonder if we aren't looking at an example of real-world trolling; if someone purposefully wrote the most offensive thing they could come up with to prove how fucked up that newspaper is, that they'd publish it.
I think it's the part of me that wants to believe anything other than that guy being real.
Jon Stewart nailed it, and it's never been wrong; West Virginia's state slogan should be, "No interviews, please."
Yep. I think the caller is so stupid that they don't even who the real 'Christ-killing baby-eaters' are. (Excuse me, I have to go eat some more Matzo, its Passover after all).

Also, depressing to see a teacher treated that way.

She further alleged that students had been forced to write submissions saying that she had "tried to turn them gay.”
Wow. I'm speechless.
Also... in that transcript, you "bleeped" the n-word, but not the rest of the slurs? Or was that from the original source?
I'm just curious.

Well, quoting verbatim is (IMO) an instance where it's acceptable to leave slurs "unbleeped". Others may feel differently.

Even if the letter is trolling, what is wrong with people that they printed it?

Whoever wrote this letter must be about 90. Some of those insults are definitely old school.
