This entire debacle pisses me off. From Darlymple advising that money should be set aside for litigation costs (in his press statement) to Wikipedia being used to craft some of the bills.

Rachel Maddow had a segment talking about the bills on her March 25th show. She also had Tammi Kromenaker to talk about the impact of the bills. It's very interesting.

“North Dakota hasn’t even passed a primary seatbelt law, but we have the most invasive attack on women’s health anywhere.” - ND Rep. Hawken

That quote has been bouncing around just to signify how fracked up everything is out here.

I really wish I had money to donate. Hopefully I'll get a job soon and will be able to.

Is this still going to go on the ballot in 2014?

The personhood amendment will be going to the ballot. These laws that were signed yesterday are MORE restrictions on abortion.

Yeah, I saw that too. Like, if it's not from your beliefs or experience, where is it coming from? Secret messages you've decoded from Da Vinci's writings?

He's not signing the bills into law because he thinks they are good for his state but because he thinks it'll be a good move for his career?

Donated.

This law is such complete bullshit. Shame on everyone who came up with it, voted for it, and signed it. Y'all are a bunch of assholes.
