Ugh, I am so fucking sick of men in congress being more concerned about dudes getting falsely accused of sexual assault/domestic abuse than the people who are actually being assaulted and abused! One of these things happens ALL THE TIME and the other happens rarely in comparison to the first. It's so gross.

if it's unconstitutional to arrest someone without a warrant, are you now not going to lock up the pot heads? drunk drivers?

am I reading into that wrong?

Yes, I am sure the battered party would like to fill out the paperwork to make a formal complaint while their abuser is standing there. watching. waiting.

and I know complaint is the legal term, but the whole tone of the bill makes it feel like they're using it in regular sense. Yeah, yeah, formally WHINE about being hit. then maybe we'll do something.
