While I can see people getting pissed at the bar's management for not speaking out I can't say the same about the waitstaff. A job's a job, especially in this economy, so I'm glad the protesters didn't harass them.

not many things bother me to this extent, but we're living in a country where right now, there is a growing movement for native rights (Idle No More) and Chief Theresa Spence was on a hunger strike for months. and these thoughtless, privileged white kids show up in face paint and feather headdresses?

I think I'm going to send them a detailed message explaining why this page is racist hate speech (since this seems to be a difficult concept for them). I'm not expecting much (or anything) with regards to a response from them but they should be made aware that they are not acting against racism the way they should.
Another company that deserves blame is yahoo.ca. They regularly have hateful and racist crap on their site and don't seem to care. I wound up shutting down my email account there because it was so disgusting.
