My nieces go to school in New Milford; my mom told me their school is only about ten miles from where the shooting took place. That is just way too close for comfort.
The Bethel ambulance just dispatched out of here with sirens, headed in direction of Newtown. We have a resource sharing agreement, so they may just be covering their regular traffic.
