The Constitutional Crimes of Barack Obama

Nov 08, 2012 12:19

by DAVE LINDORFF

As we slog towards another vapid, largely meaningless exercise in pretend democracy with the selection of a new president and Congress this November, it is time to make it clear that the current president, elected four years ago by so many people with such inflated expectations four years ago (myself included, as I had hoped, vainly ( Read more... )

I feel you OP, and I agree with most of the information of this article, with a couple of exceptions. But...this is not the time to be posting these types of articles. This community doesn't want to hear this information now, they don't want to know, many Obama supporters refuse to consider such things. Give it six months. Okay, a lot still won't want to hear this information, but you won't get as much scorn (just the usual silence).

You know, I am getting really sick and tired of this stupid-ass crap getting hauled out every time. If we refuse to give consideration to poor, faulty rhetoric with no sources we just "haven't seen the light." How about someone posting something with actual facts rather than paranoid delusional bullshit, and then we'll talk. Jesus.

Just the way many conservatives refuse to consider that he's actually a better president for this country! Bye, now.

what? I generally think this community takes criticism of their faves pretty well when it's presented in a well thought out way with facts, sources, and data we can verify on our own. I end up dismissing a lot of criticism of Obama that could be legitimate if only it wasn't just the equivalent of an angry person yelling through a bullhorn.

Yeah, you know, I agree with you that some people are good about it. But I would also say, though I can't back this up with facts, sources, citations and a chart because I have better things to do then track responses, that people in this community do not demand facts, sources, data of every article criticising the republicans in the same thorough way. They just don't!

tbh, a lot of the articles linked in this community criticizing Republicans already come sourced; the journalist provided the links within the original article. if you look back at many articles, you can see parts of the text that hyperlink to other news organizations and reports... that stuff is really just copied over from the article's source. I don't think anyone is saying that you, the OP, need to post sources as much as the person writing the article needs to provide sources.
