Which one? That one!

ThinkProgress does a fact-checking liveblog during the debates. Obviously they don't catch everything - one thing they missed was McCain talking up Meg Whitman as Treasury Secretary, despite her company laying off 10% of eBay workers today - but it's still a valuable resource. The blog goes backwards chronologically.

What is the "that one" comment, and what is the attack on Brokaw? I've got about 10 minutes left to go on my recording, but I think they ran over time so I probably won't see it if it was at the end

Not sure about the Brokaw attack, but the That One is in the video above.

Oh. Ty. I did see that actually. Eh, not surprising to me. McCain is so mad right now. That electoral map is looking mighty sad.

The Brokaw thing was supposed to be a joke, it just wasn't funny. When asked who he'd make his secretary of treasury McCain said "well, certainly not you, Tom"

not funny. Brokaw would be a better cabinet member than Palin would a VP

OK, as far as the Brokaw thing goes, McCain makes awful jokes. That was one of them. I hardly think that's a big deal.

I didn't really catch him saying "that one" last night, or I didn't think it was that big of a deal. I have to rewatch it later.

Yeah, I thought it was just his poor attempt at joke-making. He's seriously got the poorest sense of humor.
