I love how people either totally ignore, or are just ignorant about the different types of Buddhism and the violence/wars that have been perpetrated in the name of Buddhism, including some people who practice it. There was this one guy who was arguing that Buddhism (he was practicing) is the most peaceful religion and the most persecuted religion, in America. He was going on and on and on and it was like everything he had read about Buddhism was out of a Goldenbook, which made me really skeptical about how long he had been practicing and exactly what the fuck he was practicing.
