Oh, he may genuinely if vaguely feel bad for the unemployed, etc. Maybe he even genuinely believes that his policies will improve life for them. The thing is, his feelings pretty much mean diddly squat to anyone but him. What counts is what he does and plans to do, and in those arenas? Almost everything he's done or proposed doing will screw over and hurt those who are struggling while leaving those who are doing just fine untouched.
