Gold medalist to aid state swim camp
U.S. Olympic swimming gold medalist and world record holder Ryan Lochte will serve as a guest clinician during the 2008 S.C. Swimming Select Camp Sept. 20-21 at Pepper Geddings Recreation Center in Myrtle Beach.
The City of Myrtle Beach will host 60 swimmers from across the state during the event, including 7 members of the Myrtle Beach Swim Team.
Steve Lochte, Ryan Lochte's father and head coach of the Daytona Beach Speed swim team, will also serve as the other guest clinician.
Other coaches will include the staff of the 2008 S.C. Swimming Zone Championship team, 2008 S.C. Swimming Coach of the Year and the Myrtle Beach Swim Team staff.
So...anyone from Myrtle Beach? Someone should totes go and get him to hold up an ontd_olympics sign.
