Robert Rodriguez to direct Deadpool?
Also from The Examiner, Robert Rodriguez has gotten an early script for Deadpool (and likes it,) but is undecided whether he'll pick up the project or not. Rodriguez is known recently primarily for the Spy Kids franchise, but has done a ton of other works such as Sin City, Grindhouse, and Desperado. The same actor who played it in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds, is attached to the project to reprise his role.
Well, Rodriguez has a pretty wide range, and has shown he can do quirky comic-based or feeling movies, so he might be a good choice for it; no one else is really coming to mind at the moment.
