Benedict Cumberbatch to join Hobbit cast?
Martin Freeman has apparently let the cat out the bag and hinted his "Sherlock" co-star may be joining him in New Zealand in an unspecified role.
While speaking to journalists at the BAFTA Television awards, Freeman was reported as stating:
"Peter Jackson is the biggest kid in the world and he is very, very focused on what he is doing and there is no resting on previous laurels as well and Benedict is going to be in it as well."
No word from PJ as yet to confirm, but Cumberbatch did little to deny the statement, saying only he couldn't confirm his character.
This is just getting ridiculously awesome now - PJ is really going all out to get the best cast he can, even if he doesn't have parts for them yet! Really hope this is confirmed soon
