Charity Cricket
Last week several members of The Hobbit cast attended a charity cricket match for the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal. According to one article:
"The cricketers were joined by the British cast of the Hobbit, with a loud roar of applause going to Gandalf, Sir Ian McKellen who was the match referee. James Nesbitt coached the Wellington side and other members of the cast rattled collecting tins."
Another site says that Martin Freeman was another guest umpire.
