UPDATED: Our favorite 'Lost' stars: Where are they a year later?

Feb 03, 2011 23:53

The final season of Lost debuted on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010. That means at this time last year, the words “flash sideways” weren’t conjoined inside your brain, and the fates of those plucky Oceanic 815 survivors were unknown. In honor of this anniversary - hey, if it’s good enough for Back to the Future it’s good enough for Lost - let’s take a look at what each cast member is up to nowadays.

Naveen Andrews: With the exception of an appearance on Law & Order: SVU last year, it looks like Andrews has kept things quiet on the career front. Not in his personal life, though! After splitting from longtime girlfriend Barbara Hershey, Andrews was seen “holding her hand” at a party in Los Angeles for the BAFTAs. Black Swan: Bringing people together since December!

Nestor Carbonell: After a swing through the USA fluff hit Psych, Carbonell has laid fairly low. Assume that the Mayor of Gotham City is preparing for the May shoot of The Dark Knight Rises.

Henry Ian Cusick: Outside of some Law & Order: SVU episodes, Cusick has stayed off the pop culture grid.

Jeremy Davies: It was jarring seeing Davies in It’s Kind of a Funny Story, if only because at any moment you expected him to talk about detonating a hydrogen bomb to reset the space-time continuum. He’s also set to co-star as the heavy on season two of Justified.

Michael Emerson: I think I speak for everyone when I say that Michael Emerson needs to work more. In the fall he starred as John Winthrop in the PBS documentary series The American Experience, and eventually he’ll hopefully film the pilot for Odd Jobs, the J.J. Abrams-produced series with Terry O’Quinn.

Matthew Fox: He can’t stay away from the scrubs. Fox was seen wearing a pair while visiting India in early January as part of Operation Smile. Here’s hoping the visit made him half-cry.

Jorge Garcia: A rolling Garcia gathers no moss. In addition to appearances on How I Met Your Mother and the upcoming sitcom Mr. Sunshine, Garcia has booked one of the lead roles in the J.J. Abrams-produced Alcatraz. He also reminded everyone that the numbers were cursed.

Josh Holloway: When Lost ended, Josh Holloway said he wanted to be a movie star. Thus, his appearance in this year’s Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol is important. Meanwhile, he’s still the dream choice of television critics the world over to play Jim Rockford in the shelved remake of The Rockford Files on NBC.

Daniel Dae Kim: The smartest Lost actor of the bunch? He stayed in Hawaii and is co-starring on Hawaii Five-0.

Yunjin Kim: Her film Heart Beat is doing well at the Korean box office.

Ken Leung: The sure-to-be B-movie Earthbound, with Costas Mandylor and Scott Patterson. How long before this former Sopranos guest actor ends up as a on Boardwalk Empire, though?

Evangeline Lilly: In addition to her ads for L’Oreal, Lilly will next be seen in Real Steel, opposite Hugh Jackman and a giant robot.

Elizabeth Mitchell: Still fighting the good fight on V. Yes, that show is still on the air.

Dominic Monaghan: After washing out in FlashForward, Monaghan made a splash this summer in the Eminem video “Love the Way You Lie,” opposite Megan Fox.

Terry O’Quinn: On Monday night, O’Quinn co-starred in the Lifetime movie Taken From Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story. Eventually, he’ll star in Odd Jobs with Michael Emerson. Hopefully. (Seriously, don’t screw us on that one television gods.)

Harold Perrineau: Perrineau has made a host of film and television appearances since leaving Lost full-time, but the one future project that really catches the eye is Inferno. According to the rarely reliable IMDb, he’s set to play Sammy Davis Jr. in the Linda Lovelace biopic. Don’t hold your breath.

Emile de Ravin: Not much, other than collecting DVD money from Remember Me.
