Remember that possible new ARG DarkUFO posted about a while back, The Island Isn't Done With You Yet? The game is up and running now and appears to be a Damon, Carlton & A Polar Bear-style art release.
Entering the code phrase will bring up a new window where you can purchase a painting of one of the characters. According to the site, the paintings are “Original and created by hand on 1/2" studio canvas. Each painting went through five steps: hand painted background, white overlay, black overlay, black details, white details. Each painting is original and has small details different from all the others of the same character. Only 12 were created of each character, of which only 10 are for public sale. Each comes signed and numbered with a certificate of authentcity from drMikey Studios. The price of $250.00 per painting includes free shipping, both domestic and international.”
(NGL, I’m disappointed. This looked like it could have had potential, and one last real ARG would have been nice.)
