Favorite Episodes
As a companion to yesterday's Least Favorite Episodes post, let's talk about our favorite episodes today. Just as Stranger in a Strange Land was the cop-out answer for least favorite episode, The Constant is your cop-out answer for favorite episode. It's amazingness is a well-known fact at this point.
Some of my favorites:
3) Raised by Another - Kinda random, I know, but this is the episode that got me hooked on Lost. The part with Richard Malkin putting Claire on the flight knowing it would crash, and then the cliffhanger at the end about Ethan... blew my mind. I loved the show after this ep.
2) LaFleur - I love the time traveling in the first half of season 5. That, combined with 70s Dharma, Sawyer at his absolute best, and my ship makes for good times.
1) The Shape of Things to Come - My favorite Ben episode. Risk, a shotgun in the piano bench, Keamy shooting Alex, Ben with his kickass baton, the Widmore/Ben showdown at the end. Perfection.
So what are your favorites? Are there any episodes that everyone loves that you don't like? I'm not a huge fan of "Dead is Dead." I don't hate it, but I don't love it either. The confrontation between Ben and the monster is kinda silly, imo. But that's more because of poor CGI.
