So what does the Lost folks have to say about their nominations? I've managed to find reactions from Darlton, Matthew Fox, Terry O'Quinn, Michael Emerson, and Elizabeth Mitchell. Kinda long, so I'm putting them after the cut. Let me know if you find any more and I will add them!
Damon:
"It sounds so cliche that it's great to be nominated but that's what we're basking in now. We don't take this for granted. And the fact that the love was spread to Michael Giacchino, Jack Bender, the sound mixers and art direction is great. It'll be cool to put on the monkey suits again and get together one last time." - Variety
"I basically started to weep. I didn’t realize how much I was still holding on. My wife looked at me and asked what I was feeling, and I said ‘relief.’ You don’t want to say ‘Oh, my God I really want a nomination.’ We should just be proud of the work we did. And we are incredibly proud. But the fact that our peers still care about the show ended up meaning a lot more than I expected.
There is kind of an out-of-sight, out-of-mind factor. Even with the addition of six nominees, four or five other ones easily could have been in the mix, and nobody would have said boo about it. We’re the only show in mix that is over. The fact that it got a nod in the final season is definitely gratifying." - Entertainment Weekly
"Guess I'm feeling a little more emotional about it than I thought." - Twitter
"I'm a masochist, so I saw it live. I was watching 'E: 100 Celebrity Oops Moments,' and then the nominations broke in, so I was taken out of my misery. Some years, we've been up on the big board, and some years we haven't. This is enormously gratifying. After all the hoopla over the finale, whether you loved it or hated it or found it polarizing, what feels good is that people still care." - AP
"The happiest surprise was Matthew Fox cracking into the best actor category. When you look at the guys he‘s against: Michael C. Hall, Bryan Cranston or Jon Hamm, they are almost in every frame of their series, while Lost is more of an ensemble show, so it has been hard for the Academy to acknowledge Matthew as a lead actor and when they finally did, it meant the world to us." - Deadline Hollywood (Thanks,

Carlton
"My strategy is to sleep through these type of things. I checked my phone and saw there were a lot of emails. Bad news avoids you like the plague. … For Matthew, he's labored almost unfairly on a show that's more ensemble-oriented than the guys he's competing aginst. Fortunately, the finale was Matthew-centric and he was finally given a chance to be front and center in such a way that allows voters to take notice. He was so critical to our show." - Variety
"As storytellers, you rarely get to end a story on your own terms. Most shows kind of fade away or drop dead. We finished our story on our terms. Let’s face it, there were very high expectations for how Lost should end, and for us, it was enormously gratifying that we were recognized for doing a reasonably good job of ending the show." - Entertainment Weekly
"I rolled out of bed and saw all these e-mails, so I knew it was good news. I didn't get up -- it was too early to get bad news." - AP
"Super exciting morning! 12 Emmy noms for LOST!" - Twitter
"Especially happy for Matthew Fox, who finally was recognized for his outstanding work." - Twitter
"The expectations were really high for the finale so we knew it wouldn't please everybody but it must have pleased enough Emmy voters for the show to get all the nominations; if it wasn't satisfying, we wouldn't have gotten any nominations. We don’t take it for granted: with incredible shows also ending their runs like 24 and Law & Order to not get (the same recognition), it is easy to see how hard it is to get into the drama field these days." - Deadline Hollywood (Thanks,

Foxy
"We just moved about a week ago from Hawaii to Oregon. I really had no idea the nominations were today. About 5:40 my phone started going off, and it vibrated for about 45 minutes, so someone was really trying to get me. After I got the news, my wife and I lay in bed and just looked at each other." - Reuters
"I did not even know the nominations were this morning. I was woken up my the buzzing of my phone, and was happy to find out I was nominated. I am very proud of LOST and was fortunate to be able to play such a complex character like Jack Shephard. I am so proud of the show and everyone involved~ cast, writers and crew. This is truly a celebration for all of us. It will be nice to catch up with everyone at the awards." - Fancast
"It gives me a great excuse to go to (the award ceremony) and hang out with all the people I did the show with. We'll have a little reunion and raise a few glasses of champagne to what we did for six years.
I think the show had created enormous expectations this season and somehow we met or even exceeded them in some respects. Seeing the show getting the nomination and Damon and Carlton and Jack Bender and the other actors getting nominated, I feel great about it." - USA Today (Thanks,

ME
"I’m delighted at the broad recognition that “Lost” has received this year and am thrilled to be able to share the excitement with my cast mates. I’m also ecstatic that my wife Carrie’s show, “True Blood,” received a nomination-we’re both looking forward to the party in August." - Yahoo News
TOQ
"It's always great to be recognized for one's work, and when friends are included in the recognition, it's even better. With all the 'LOST' nominations, it's almost as though the winning (or not winning) will be anti-climactic. I'm happy as can be for Matthew, and the only thing I can imagine that would be better than being nominated in the same category as Michael Emerson would be if the Emmy voters would be so kind as to let us win together, thank you very much........but in truth, I feel as though they already have." - Yahoo News
HBIC
"I'm shocked. And so happy. I loved Juliet so much. The nomination is a wonderful way to say goodbye." - EOnline (Thanks,

Also, Entertainment Weekly had a
Emmy Trivia post and pointed out this lovely fact:
"With her Guest Actress nod this year, Elizabeth Mitchell becomes the first (and only) female cast member from Lost to get some Emmy love." Nice work, HBIC!
And,
scandaloussteph gave me this picture, which was EM's "For Your Consideration" photo.
I think she got nominated because of her legs.
