OMG, A FELLOW BIOSHOCK AND LOST FAN. :D
Too bad you haven't seen the 2nd game yet, that's the one that really inspired the crossover plotbunny for some reason. I just really liked the characters and story in the sequel, they just really energize my Lost crossover plotbunny.
But yeah, the first game was an amazing, perspective-changer in videogames.
I remember I had like the first chapter kinda done, but then other plotbunnies got to me. I'll have to let you know if I post it soon, though like I said, it would deal a lot with Bioshock 2, and I don't know how you feel about spoilers (so let me know, please).
YAY! more similarities! I noticed the Jack thing too, and was tickled by that--though I thought Bioshock's was way less annoying, and his twist got to me. Speaking of which, yes, TWISTS. I didn't realize that Lost also did have radios with crazy shit on them, i.e. Danielle's infamous distress call. And all of Bioshock's mind control reminded me of an extreme version of Room 23 and such that was going on in Lost. And Rapture's attempt at Utopia in a weird place but then going horribly wrong reminded me of Dharma's mission and all (though Rapture went way worse). And like all the aquatic stuff I thought sorta connected to the Island. And just the general tone of Bioshock was like massively expanding on Lost's horror/sci fi/mystery/TWIST themes.
