Can we talk about this?
Let us consider this glorious BAMF:
We learn his backstory and his love for Nadia. But then he falls for Shannon and is devastated at her death. But then he leaves the island just a few months later and marries Nadia. But then after death, he ends up with Shannon. This is the one couple from the finale that gave me pause. It really seemed like Nadia was set up to be his true love - Sayid did say the happiest part of his life was when he was married to her. So why was it Shannon in the end? I know we've talked about this a bit before in other posts, but I'd like to hear what you guys think about why Shannon was his soulmate and not Nadia.
Now don't me wrong, I have nothing against Shannon and Sayid. It was just the only couple from "The End" that surprised me. Couldn't they just have put Sayid with Nadia and then Shannon and Boone could have been paired together so he wouldn't be all alone? Explain it to me, Shannon/Sayid fans!
