And why would he want to put three people who hate each other on-island into the same consciousness at the same time?

Ben and Locke would try to kill each other, I'd think.

It'd be an interesting fight. ;-)

That it would be.

And hey, as long as I get to see Ben on my television screen, I'm happy.

Exactly. The main thing I was intrigued about was using the hit and run on Locke as a way to "awake" Ben. Because, really, how else would Desmond be able to do that for Ben?

I dont think so... ohwtf_26 April 20 2010, 21:14:44 UTC
I dont think desmond remembers ben yet, because if he had he would totally want to kill him, because after all the last time he saw him he tried to kill him and his wife, SO I VERY MUCH DOUBT HE EVEN KNOWS WHO BEN IS IN THE ALT. because he would have had a reaction to him when he walked up to the car... so yeah... because if he remembered everything about the island then he would remember everyone he met there

Yeah, when you see a guy again for the first time since he shot you in the groceries and brandished a pistol in the direction of your wife and child (albeit, I don't believe Ben was going to fire after he saw Charlie, but there was no way for Desmond to understand that at the time) - you are unlikely to remain suave.

You make a good point but I can't respond to it because I'm too busy laughing at "shot you in the groceries."
