Probably so that they could kill her off more easily / she's not as much in Jacob and MiB's backstory episode. Ugh.

I have no idea. Dark had one of those spoiler polls back in the day(who is Jacob's child), the answer was Ilana.

Recently, someone asked Dark what happened with that spoiler, he said they cut it out of the script. It was in the comments section of a spoiler. Don't know which one.

I remember reading that spoiler not too long after the season 5 finale, actually . . . so I guess they had time to change it from "Jacob was my father" to "Jacob was LIKE a father to me." XD
