I could see two possible storylines from these pictures
a) Claire finds out that Smocke really can't help her get to Aaron, she goes to Kate for comfort
or
b) Locke threatens her and she's conning Kate by befriending her

I almost wish spoilers weren't basically just filming reports, but I guess it's more satisfying seeing things unspoiled.
