So I was looking through some old school stuff and I found this poem I had written for my Fiction & Poetry class, about, of course, my feelings for Lost...
On the day of the event
I am an island of
quiet anticipation.
My mind is abuzz
with electromagnetism,
old statues
as day turns to night.
Three minutes to,
my feet are unquiet
as I impatiently wait
with bated breath.
And then--it begins.
A wave of emotions,
sheer terror, heartbreak,
and I am transfixed.
A nail disappears
as I chew it to flesh,
my eyes burn
bittersweet,
but I dare not
dry the corners.
I stare at the screen,
wide-eyed
and bewildered
as tension builds
and drama unfolds
until suddenly--it ends.
I feel a train has
just hit me,
pure mental exhaustion.
I also found this old picture of me, which I found slightly amusing...
So I'm wondering, have you guys ever made or written anything about Lost that's rather geeky?
