Poll Who do you blame more for Juliet's death?Who do you blame more for Juliet's death? Sawyer blames Jack, but I think Kate's more responsible because if it wasn't for her Sawyer and Juliet would have just left on that submarine.
EDIT: The question is who out of the two do you think is more responsible (since in the ep Sawyer blames Jack but not Kate). It doesn't mean that that person is 100

I find it also hilariously ironic that the character they clearly expend the most time and energy on is also the most poorly developed and useless

Penny?
Eloise?

And because the writers have such a hard on for Kate/Evie the other females have been a blip on the LOST storyline radar... and never get any focus. Hell, they vanished Claire and gave her story to Kate to try and make her interesting.
Also, Penny & Eloise are recurring characters... not main characters.

I don't think the writers ruining any of Sun's potentially interesting storylines has anything to do with Kate/Evi...
Like I said, Eloise was very interesting on her own, nothing to do with Kate. I'm guessing she'll be back this season, too so...

But what story is that? The only female that they spend much time giving storylines to is Kate. That's just how it is. Throughout the entire series Kate had to be involved in everything while doing nothing... while the other females were just there. Most of the time being too "pregnant" or "old" or "girly" to do anything within the bigger storyline. Only occasionally did any of the females get to do something... and then when that happened it almost always resulted in their characters death.

Basically, I think the issue is with the writers being better at writing male characters, something that's very common in TV and movies today.
