What are you doing about spoilers?

Now that we've had our first (albeit minor) spoilers about Season 6 thanks to Comic Con, I'd be interested to see what you all intend to do about spoilers next season. Are you a spoiler junkie who's going to read everything? Or do you avoid spoilers ( Read more... )

It's like my finger is compelled to click on those spoiler cuts...
But I'll try to avoid them as much as possible, especially learning after this past season how much knowing what's coming makes the show less exciting.

I always tell myself that I am not going to look at any spoilers, then I end up looking at every little bit of information.

Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places, but every time curiosity gets the better of me and I go to a Lost spoiler page, it always seems to be really obvious or really vague stuff (ie, "someone is going to die in the next two episodes," "we will find out that someone is related to another character", blah blah blah).

Or maybe I'm just slow and I don't "get" spoilers, in which case, my stupidity saves me! :D

There are definitely some specific spoilers. In particular for last season, there was a post on ONTD that flat out told you, hey guess what! Daniel's dying next week :(

Yeah, I remember when in the preview for the Variable Daniel says "Any one of us can die, Jack..."
I was like Oh shi-- I hope that isn't not-so-subtle foreshadowing for Faraday.

And lo and behold that post came around on ONTD and everyone was losing their shit. T_T I guess it really does help to know ahead of time exactly when you're favorite character's going to bite it.

I didn't see that, but all through The Variable I did have a funny feeling :(

I never want to know anything big, like who's going to die or how the season will end, but casting, minor plot stuff, etc, I'm fine with. With that kind of stuff, it doesn't really register until I actually see it anyway.

I'm going to try not to watch the clips before the episode airs though because that always makes it go faster when I finally see the whole thing and I want every ep to last as long as possible :(
