I'm actually hoping that this scene happens and right after Sayid falls down dead we hear another shot and see Ben fall....with Juliet/Desmond/someone else standing behind him looking all satisfied.

I'm soooo sick of everyone trashing on Sayid for shooting little Ben. Sayid's the most rational Lostie and he honestly thought that was his purpose-- he's the killa of the group, doesn't let his emotions complicate what was best for everyone else, and had a golden opportunity. It's like it all made sense at that moment. Getting rid of the guy while he was most helpless was the best solution for preventing tons of innocent people from being killed or hurt.

And Sayid wasn't there for the "Whatever happened, happened" speech. Shit, if I were in his place, I'd do it, too.

I admit you do have a point, but i just hate it when children ~die~ on programmes.

Same with animals. I hate animal deaths. I'm a sap that way XD

He probably thought he was doing right, but i still hate him for it. It was really disressing ;A;

Do you cry too? I watch this British program on Animal Planet called Wildlife SOS and everytime they have to put an animal to sleep, I cry like a baby! Especially when it's a baby deer. Or a baby fox.

I still cry at The Lion King too. You know the scene I'm talking about!

I always cry! I find animal deaths more distressing that human deaths on shows usually...

Yeah me too ): I hate the idea of animals being put to sleep, but what keeps me going is the fact knowing they are put to sleep so they dont have to suffer anymore :) You have to be cruel to be kind sometimes.

And i know...that scene ALWAYS brings tears to my eyes ;___;

My absence of capslock obviously means I don't share your haterage. I understand why Sayid did it, theoretically, and more importantly it had to happen - it was going to happen, had already happened, and was always going to happen.

Setting all that aside, I hope Sayid survives long enough to get smacked upside the head with the sheer fucking irony of the whole situation. Because I actually found that highly amusing.
