As for constructive comments:

I definitely want Asami to be an equalist, but I want her to be conflicted about it- like, her father supports them and she supports them as well, but she really does care about Mako and doesn't want them to get hurt.

I am really wondering when Korra will make the airbending breakthrough- I'm wondering if she'll be able to airbend at all before the end of this season, actually. I feel like it's something that's going to happen only when she's really made a breakthrough in her spiritual connection, and I'm not sure how close she is to that happening. I also don't think Kya and Bumi are going to show up until the next season either, as I don't see a reason for them to quite yet- unless they're tied to Yakone.

I'm convinced she's the one who bribed the refs to make the Fire Ferrets lose so they wouldn't get mindbended.

Awkwardly dropping my Tumblr Asami feels here where I kinda ramble about her role in the series.

YEP. Either Asami or her dad got their hands up in that bribery.

idts. The refs were definitely bribed, but I don't think it was to to save the ferrets. Amon needed the wolfbats to win in order to make his point about bullies/cheaters being the champions of the bending world.

Equalist!Asami would make for some sweet character development, and I totally agree with you especially at that last bit.

What if Asami was actually the one who paid the referee off to 'glance over' the Wolfbats' illegal shenanigans, just so the Fire Ferrets would purposefully lose? Being on the top echelons of the Equalist ladder, she'd be privy to what Amon was up to - that is to take the bending of the winners of the tournament, which she didn't want to happen to Mako and company, hence the paying off bit.

I have a feeling it was Amon bribing by using someone else, so Asami/her father would work for that job. He didn't want the FF to win, cause he's not taking Korra's bending this early, due to the martyr factor, so taking the bending from a famous pro-bending team is enough to make the statement he wanted and set benders into a panic.
