First, I'd like to share with you with an HD image of THAT PANSHOT from the intro of 1x01 over here on deviantart. Makes a nice banner!
Also, I've been seeing lots of theories about the events of 'Revelation' on Tumblr, but I've seen nobody point out the following detail:
Observation: no light, he is not touching their hearts, and it seems touching their foreheads is just for show. Conclusion: Amon is pretending to energy-bend the way Aang did. So he's lying about that, at least.
