Where have been the best places for you to meet girls?  I know NO gay girls at home, and online dating is proving to be the worst idea ever. So...

- Best place in real life to meet girls?

- Best place online to meet girls?

IRL I usually meet women while volunteering for whatever gay rights org I happen to be involved in at the time. I don't date in the org because that's a major cause for drama. But knocking on doors or getting into gay events free is a good way to meet people. That only works if you actually have an interest in gay rights though. If not I'd say get a hobby that brings you in contact with people. Eventually you'll meet someone you like.

Meeting women online has never really worked for me.

Oh thats a great suggestion!

Your local community will also have like a gay pages/community guide, gay monthly/weekly whatever paper which will have HEAPS of activities, dances, choirs, bowling, tennis, knitting, sundowers, fundraisers etc groups that are awesome to go meet people at - if you find it easy to meet people thats your best bet

No not in your local paper, but do you have like a local music free newspaper? we have a glbt pull out section in that which has gay stuff in it

I guess it depends on your age and interests and reason

I generally have met all of my friends from just being out at the local gay pub/club, hooking up with them, hooking up with their friends etc. and then through friends of friends, going to see some local music, local gay and lesbian event etc.

i dont think meeting online is really ummm accurate for either friends or fucks

i tried to respond to this when i was really drunk and getting home from a gay club and i was really kind of pissed because i felt objectified AND all of the girls were painfully awkward and i was drunk and i looked really attractive and was bitter that i wasn't getting some.

but gay clubs can be really good, but i guess it depends on what kind of girl you are looking for. your profile says you are like twenty three so are you in college or anything? you can go to your lgbtq club and have a grand old time. i'm not going to knock online dating, but i think that it is really difficult and i like having sex. you can try gay bars, too, and go to new york because there are a billion girls who like girls.
you can also go to your local sex shops, they usually have local magazine type things that will tell you all the ongoings. from what i have learned (from experience), there are gay girls EVERYWHERE and you just have to sought them out and tune your gaydar.

haha no it did make sense!! haha

Luckily I don't feel the need for a lot of sex. I havent had it in about a year and a half, so it's not a priority for me. I'm not in school (but when I was the lgbt comm was very small and the lezzies very cliquey so it didnt work out for me anyway) so I guess I'd have to try bars. I'm just not a fan of goign to them myself, you know? My friend told me I give off a straight vibe, which is possible, idk. I'm attractive but girls like NEVER hit on me, it's frustrating lol.

ugh i know! i worked so hard to look gay the other day, i wore a vest and i looked all sexy and sultry and people looked and kind of talked and got uncomfortable and intimidated.
just be outgoing, introduce yourself to people!

Take up a sport. I play roller derby and my last 3 ladies have been girls in my league, or I've met them through other girls in the league.

omg I wanna try roller derby soooo badly. It seems so badass lol Or I may go back ot rugby. I need a job first to pay for that kinda stuff. How much does it cost for you to be in a league?

I'm in Australia, but it costs me $40 a month in league fees. Skates start at about $300. Padding and a helmet is more on top of that. Most leagues will let you borrow stuff though, and you can find secondhand skates. It's an expensive sport but I make it work on a student budget so I think it's doable.

I'm having the same problem as you my friend. I live in a tiny little village in England where gay girls are unheard of and am having no luck online either. So I wish you luck on finding someone, datless is not a good place to be.

It sucks doesn't it. I feel like Little Britain, 'I'm the only gay in the villiage.'
