I came across a website with discussion topics from a Harry Potter university course and this topic in particular caught my eye. With all the use of prophecies in the series it would certainly be an argument that fate is the ultimate driver of the series….yet there are several instances when free will changes the course of the story. Feel free to debate and discuss specific instances or the series as a whole.
Hopefully this is alright, I thought it looked like it could spark some interesting conversations. I searched the discussion tag and didn't see anything like this yet.
