Not to be a bitch, but why do you need a squib post, when

a) there was no e-mails, so the situation is not different than it was for past 3 days or so
b) people who got in don't have Pottermore posts?

I approved the post, but please, reconsider.

And no, the site is not working properly, my potion is fucking STUCK on brewing for past 4 days and I can't do anything about it and potion making is the only thing I could do there. Thanks, Pottermore.

xoxo

Well, I think it helps some people to have a place to bitch and moan about it, if this isn't the place for that, OK.

I also think we kind of knew there wouldn't be any sent over the weekend.

People who got in do have Pottermore posts - there was one on Friday I think?

Plus it's a good way to share information like the fact the site isn't working properly. That way I can significantly reduce my expectations.

But if it's unnecessary, sure I'll delete it.

No, leave it, because I think they will send out some e-mails today, so this post might be necessary. I just don't want those posts to become a routine, when nothing is happening.

Well, I don't think we need one every day. With the amount of comments they can easily last a few days.

I know that this is what a beta period is for, but it's kind of worrying that everything is broken even with the tiny fraction of users they've let in.

I really think they'll end up extending the beta.

I agree, it is a concern. Even without the bugs I am somewhat underwhelmed by the whole thing, but I hope this will change with future books.

That's what I've been trying to say. They have less than 30,000 people in the site and it's already a mess. The staff needs to get their shit together because at this pace not everyone will be in by September 30.

Pottermore is kind of like a release of the new HP book. You get excited for months and then you're done with the book in a few hours.

[SPOILERS I GUESS]

Maybe it will be more exciting, when they get their shit together and buy better servers, make more games (if we're at Hogwarts, we should take other classes, not only Potions) and just listen to the fans. The thing about this fandom is that we love to talk to each other, discuss and we don't have a chance for that there. 'Online reading experience'? It's not like you can read much there, the chapters are not full. Also maybe it will be better when we get bigger books, like GoF and OotP, idk.

At least with the books we could generate hundreds of discussions and analyses. But Pottermore is like a one-time experience. Once it occurs to you, it's done. :/

I wish there was more additions like McGonagall's backstory :(

I guess because it's just book 1 so they don't want to spoil further. Maybe stuffs like the founders' backstories will be revealed in other books? idk

I got in but I'm waiting on my computer to be fixed before I can actually play. So I'm a pseudo squib. I guess.

I really don't care about the music. It would be cool, but it would get annoying after some time.

I wouldn't mind something in the background, or some sound effects. Someone suggested that I just listen to the PS/SS soundtrack while I'm on there, which is a good idea.

Would you mind if I added you to my friends list...I know there hasn't been a post exchanging user names yet since we all don't have access to the site.

Yeah, the moment I got in, I just set up my soundtracks ;)

On Pottermore? Sure, SandRose203.
