Now that the films are officially over, we should take time to recognize an unsung hero
Steve Kloves appreciation post
Where would we be without Kloves?
- we'd be stuck having to hear the backstory of the marauders
- hermione wouldn't have so many fabulous lines
- we would have been forced seeing that Dumbledore was in love with Grindelwald
- Tonks would have had too much screen time
- He allowed us to see the Burrow burn to the ground
- Harry/Ginny shippers were able to see her tie his shoelaces
- He showed us Fred and George talking unison all the time, so that we wouldn't be confused that they were twins
- He didn't waste our time by showing us characters such as Peeves
- The Weasley family never dealt with Percy becoming estranged because well the fallout never happened!
- Hogwarts was spared from an unnecessary battle at the end of Half-Blood prince
- The students of Hogwarts didn't have to cry during Dumbledore's funeral
So, I ask you, what are the reasons you love Steve Kloves so much? What are your favorite changes/additions/omissions he made with the screenplays?
mods, I wasn't sure if this was allowed. But we'd be nowhere without Steve Jehklovah, yet the fandom insists on tearing him apart. I thought it'd be nice to show him so much needed positivity.
