I want to do something in the fine arts/performing arts too. I'm hoping that Pottermore will probably give details on popular culture in the magical world. Also, I'd register to your class the first chance I could get if you were to do it. :D
i'd like to work at the department of international magical cooperation. idk it sounds interesting. or then i'd just run a pub in hogsmeade that'd be fun as well.
I can't see myself as a teacher, it's not my thing. I can't deal with kids and I'm impatient.
I'd LOVE to work as an Auror. I'm brave enough, I love to take a risk, I also have this attitude that I think that fighting with ~~evil forces would be the best way to go for me. My father is a policeman, so maybe it's in my blood. I'd be such a clumsy Auror, though, kind of like Tonks :)
Yeah, I could never be a teacher either. I love kids, but having to teach them something every day and dealing with all those teenagers in hormone overload once they hit puberty and dealing with the parents...and at Hogwarts it has to be even worse, since they are always locked up in that castle, age 11-17 is like the prime puberty age and the potential for disaster is just THROUGH THE ROOF. I'd Avada Kedavra someone like 4 weeks into the job tbh.
Jobs in the wizarding world puzzle me, not going to lie... mostly because there aren't many choices, even if of course all jobs aren't mentioned and I'm sure some wizards have muggle jobs, or at least jobs that don't involve much magic.
In the books it just seems like everyone works in the Ministry :D. I'm also interested in knowing how the MoM works, how Minister for Magic is elected, and besides the Minister who else are part of the government (if they have one), are there political parties in the wizarding world... etc etc.
As for me, I'd be a wandmaker. Or an artist so I could paint the portraits of Hogwart's headmasters... I wonder if a special kind of paint is needes to make the portraits alive, or do you cast a spell on them afterwards.
I would probably want to work in the Department of Mysteries. Seems like a really interesting job and who knows what kind of stuff they have down there
