- I love Dean’s comment about how H&R got the two best looking girls, and that they immediately get surrounded by other boys when their dates leave. They may be ‘second choice’ to H&R, but that doesn’t mean anything.
- Ron asking out Fleur. Is that mentioned when she marries Bill? Because meeting in-laws is weird at the best of times, but when you’ve asked them out yourself…?
- Loved the fact that Hermione took way more time getting ready than the boys. Though the boys didn’t put much effort in. They didn’t even shower first, after spending a whole day playing around outside.
- I actually missed the scene from the movie where they learn how to dance. The ball isn’t very formal, so there’s no need for everyone to learn, but they at least could have made sure Harry had some idea.
- McGonagall’s tartan outfit sounds fabulous.
- The Weird Sisters is apparently one of the few (if not the only) bands in the wizarding world. That’s depressing.
And Ron and Harry's totally awkward selves at the dance. Exactly how teenage boys would behave at ANY school dance. Especially ones who aren't in relationships and just asked the girls out to have dates lol.
I love how the dance was fun and an awkward disaster at the same time, just like in REAL LIFE. I'm kinda dissapointed in the movie version of the Weird Sisters, I didn't think they were very good. :-/
