Sarah Jessica Parker's 'kooky' Glee fashion
Sarah Jessica Parker will look more "kooky" than her famed Sex and character for her upcoming Glee cameo.
The actress is set to portray the online editor of American Vogue on the hit US show and has enlisted the iconic real life editor Anna Wintour to help with her on-set wardrobe.
Comparison's to Sarah Jessica's most iconic role as Carrie Bradshaw, the fashion-obsessed columnist can't - and haven't been - avoided as the character also freelanced for the style bible.
An insider claims that the fashionista's Glee part will be dressed even more daringly than experimental Carrie.
"It's Carrie Bradshaw on her day off - more kooky than the SATC look," a source told UK magazine Grazia. "We're talking colour pops with garishly coloured tights, threadbare jeans, glitter glasses, puffy skirts."
Fashion queen Anna is said to have picked garments from her designer favourites to make sure Sarah Jessica looks the part. The pair were pictured together in New York City following what was believed to be a meeting about the show.
The insider revealed specific items that are likely to be featured in the hotly-anticipated cameo.
"It's thought that Anna's current favourite labels will be featured - Proenza Schouler, Tabitha Simmons, Altuzarra, Prada, Alexander Wang," the source added. .
"There are also already eccentric hats and tweed shirts from Marc Jacobs, a Prada graphic print pantsuit from the fall show and a Miu Miu oversize doctor bag from the fall/winter show in the mix."
